Teaching at the school
Our teachers teach phonics to young children and English at three levels to children, teenagers and adults, in small classes at the school. You plan your own lessons, you get observed and you get feedback. The team includes the trainers from Essential TEFL, who work in the same building.
What we look for
- A native English speaker
- A British teacher training certificate or a recognised equivalent
- A bachelor degree, as required for a Thai work permit
- Experience with young learners, for phonics and beginner classes
- Based in Bangkok and able to work Tuesday to Sunday
- Patience, energy and an interest in how Thai students learn
Teaching in Thai schools
If you would rather teach in a school, Essential Educational Staffing recruits native English speaking teachers for Thai private, bilingual and international schools. Every teacher is interviewed in person, has their qualifications checked and teaches a demonstration lesson before being put forward. Essential TEFL runs a four week, 120 hour course at the school with teaching practice in Thai schools. Native English speaking graduates with a degree get guaranteed interviews through Essential Educational Staffing.
