Who the course is for
Advanced students are usually busy people. They already communicate in English and now need it to be accurate and natural, in meetings, in writing and in company. The course suits managers and professionals, students heading into higher study and lifelong learners who enjoy the language and want to master it.
The course is open to students who have passed our intermediate course, high school students from M5 upwards and anyone from age 15 who passes the placement test.

How the lessons work
Lessons centre on discussion and real tasks. You read, listen and argue a case, present and write, and your teacher refines your language as you go. The focus is on the fine detail that separates good English from precise English: word choice, register, tone and the grammar that changes meaning.
Your teacher is a native English speaker who holds a British teacher training certificate and brings their own professional background to the class.
Assessment
Your teacher assesses you throughout the course on:
- Class participation
- Completing the set exercises
- An oral examination
- Formal assessments at the end of the course
Students who want to go further can continue with private lessons focused on their work, their studies or an exam.

Who can join the advanced course?
Students who have passed our intermediate course, high school students from M5 upwards and anyone from age 15 who passes the placement test at the school.
Is the advanced course the same as IELTS or TOEFL preparation?
No. The advanced course builds all round precision in English. If you need a score in a specific exam, we prepare you for it through private lessons, which can run alongside the course.
Can I join if I have not studied at Kidsangsan before?
Yes. Take the placement test at the school. If your English is at the right level, you join the next advanced class.
