Native English speakers with British teacher training certificates.
Who teaches you matters more than anything else in a language course. Here is what you can expect from the teachers at Kidsangsan.
Native speakers, British trained.
Our standard
Every teacher at Kidsangsan is a native English speaker and holds a British teacher training certificate. They meet the requirements set by the Thai Ministry of Education for teaching at an approved language school. Many have lived in Thailand for years, know the Thai school curriculum and understand how Thai students learn.
How we teach
- You speak from the first lesson, in pairs, in groups and in role plays
- Your teacher corrects you as you speak and explains the grammar behind the mistake
- Feedback comes in the moment, so you know how you are doing in every class
- Lessons are planned for the people in the room, not read from a script
- Classes are small and grouped by age and level where possible
- Progress is tracked and assessed, with a formal assessment at the end of each course
Trained and observed
Kidsangsan is the school behind Essential TEFL, the teacher training course that runs in the same building. Our teachers work alongside the trainers, lessons are observed and teachers get feedback on their teaching, the same way we train new teachers. The methods we use in class are the methods we teach.
Help in Thai
Lessons are in English. Our office staff speak Thai and English, so parents and students can ask questions, book a placement test and sort out registration in Thai.
